At SHE Physical Therapy we recognize a need for quality and patient-centered healthcare. After starting a family of our own, we knew that this area of rehab needed to be more readily accessible and a standard of care for all women!
What to expect
At SHE PT, we provide a safe, calm and relaxing space for women.
You will be evaluated and treated by one of our two Doctors of Physical Therapy. Our appointment are hour, one-on-one sessions. The evaluation appointment will include a thorough musculoskeletal screen including posture, mobility, core muscle assessment and a pelvic examination if indicated. Your treatment may include manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, education on proper body and lifting mechanics, exercise progression, all while addressing your unique needs and goals! Our background in orthopedics allows us to treat your body as a whole and to provide a holistic treatment vs one that focuses on one body part. We pride ourselves on treating the WHOLE you to meet your therapy goals.
Meet our Founder & Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Lauren Dela Cruz, PT, DPT, COMT
Dr. Lauren Dela Cruz graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has 13+ years experience in general orthopedics in and is a certified orthopedic manual therapist. She is certified in Dry Needling. Dr. Lauren has a passion for women's health and working to heal and empower prenatal and postpartum women. Dr. Lauren has training in pelvic floor through Herman & Wallace Institute and is a certified manual therapist through Ola Grimsby Institute. She is a mother of 2 little boys and has interesting pregnancy and birth stories of her own, including recovery from a cesarean and VBAC.
Dr. WonMi Lussier completed her undergraduate at Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Movement and Sports Science and her graduate degree at D’youville University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
She has been a physical therapist for 10+ years and has worked in a variety of fields including orthopedics, sports medicine, geriatrics, prenatal/postpartum care, and women’s health. Dr. Wonmi has a certification in breast cancer rehab and loves working with our prenatal and postpartum moms.
Her goal as a PT is to enhance and improve all of her patient’s quality of living. She is a mother of a baby girl.
SHE PT is a women owned, private practice that provides a personalized approach to healthcare where patients achieve optimal outcomes. Our patients are treated in a beautiful, cozy, private treatment room. All appointments one hour in length and are one-on-one with one of our doctors physical therapy. Our office is apart of a beautiful wellness collective office and is truly a serene experience from the moment you enter. No more loud, busy open PT gyms or being treated by aides or cotreated with 3 or more patients.
At SHE Physical Therapy, we also offer a concierge in-home option for those who can not make it to us. Our home therapist can travel to you and perform the evaluation and treatment in your home. *This option is limited to patients located in Broward County and subject to an additional fee.
